Brooklyn police station spokesperson Captain Augustinah Selepe confirmed that two suspects were arrested.
“A suspect, aged 34, has been arrested for the murder and defeating the ends of justice,” said Selepe.
“In the same incident a man, aged 24, was also arrested for defeating the ends of justice.”

Brooklyn CPF members received a request for medical assistance to the victim shortly after 01:00.
“They found the man lying in the street with a fatal stab wound to the leg,” said Jarad Frimmel, ward 45 councilor in a statement.
“Emer-G-Med paramedics arrived shortly after and declared the victim deceased.”
