Mziwabesuthu Ndlwana (31) was inside the family house when three men entered and pumped 25bullets into his body, leaving him dead in his bedroom.

The men also shot and killed his friend who was in the driveway.

The family found Mziwabesuthu’s body next to the wardrobe and they believe he was trying to hide when he was shot.

“Cops picked up 25 cartridges,” said his aunt Vuyiswa Ndlwana (50). “We saw three bullet holes in his face and head. Some of the bullets were pumped into his lower body.” Phumeza Ndlwana (40) said they knew someone was after her brother since early this month. Phumeza said in January, they took Mziwabesuthu to Cofimvaba after he escaped a shooting that claimed his friend’s life.

“He came back in March. He said his girlfriend had told him the person who was after him had left the area.”

Police spokeswoman Ndakhe Gwala said two men were shot in Site C, Khayelitsha. She said cops found one man in a bedroom with gunshot wounds to the body and another man outside with a wound to the head. “A double murder case was registered for investigation. The suspects and motive is unknown at this stage. Investigations continue,” she said.
